About the Automaker
Leapmotor was founded in 2015 by Zhu Jiangming with a "good but not expensive" value philosophy and deep in-house tech (motors, batteries, electronics, smart driving). A joint venture with Stellantis powers its fast overseas expansion.

2026 Sales & Market Ranking
Leapmotor delivered 356,487 vehicles in H1 2026, up 60.8% year-on-year - the #1 new-force brand and the only one above 300k in H1. June hit a record 93,376 units. Overseas exports surpassed 100k in H1 (more than all of 2025). It targets 1 million units for the full year.
Development Status
Leapmotor's C-series + A-series combos penetrate the 150k-200k RMB mainstream. The Stellantis partnership drives Europe and Southeast Asia growth, making it the standout new-force story of 2026.
