Geely Auto, founded in 1986 in Taizhou, is one of China's largest private automakers and parent of Volvo, Lotus and Zeekr. Its NEV push runs mainly through the Galaxy and Geometry sub-brands, while Zeekr covers the premium tier separately.

2026 Sales & Market Ranking
In H1 2026 Geely's NEV wholesale reached about 794,500 units (11.7% share), ranking #2 in China; retail was 578,347 units (12.3% share). Total group sales hit 1.423 million. Together with BYD the two capture well over a third of China's NEV market, forming a "two-super" structure.
Development Status
Galaxy and Zeekr are the NEV growth engines; Geely is also expanding overseas (H1 exports up ~100% YoY). The group is balancing fuel, hybrid and pure-EV lines while pushing high-end and global.
